Hello ,
Now is the time to have your expectations up like never before. Why is that? Because God is going to show you how to receive by faith what He has already provided by grace.
God supplied everything in advance before you were ever born. You had nothing to do with Him providing abundance for you. That is where Jesus stepped in for you and gave His ALL.
Everything has already been provided by grace. You have access to all of it by faith. So what does that look like?
When you believe that Jesus paid the price, then your response is THANK YOU. You receive because you believe. It's not the other way around. You don't receive it THEN you believe.
You are not trying to make God give you anything. He has already provided everything in advance in ABUNDANCE.
Lord, will you show us how to receive by faith what you have already provided by grace?
"Yes, I will. You have free access to everything I have provided before you were ever born. It is My will for you to live in abundance.
"Do you remember, "your kingdom come, your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven?"
"My will is for your life to reflect Heaven. Is that what you want? Then thank Me for what I have promised you.
"You are responding to Me with thanksgiving. I am always giving, supplying, and providing for you. Thank Me specifically for what I have promised you.
"Why specifically?
"The more specific you are with your thanksgiving, the more you will know what to expect. Your expectations and thanksgiving will lead you to receiving by faith.
"Jesus gave thanks before the multitude was fed and had leftovers afterward. True?
"I am the God of Abundance. Jesus paid for it all. That means it's FREE for you. You do not earn, pay for, nor work for My Free Abundance. I am your Loving Father who generously provides you faith to receive.
"Faith is thankful. Faith speaks. Faith acts.
"You have already received many things from Me by faith that I have provided for you. Ask Me right now, and I'll show you WHEN you received by faith what I supplied by grace."
-Your Generous Father
God is not withholding anything from you. He even gave you faith to receive what He has freely given to you.
Faith works by love. Jesus walked on this Earth by faith and He saw miracle after miracle living in love. Jesus is Love Personified.
I encourage you to seek the Lord this week and ask Him for dozens of times when you did receive by faith what He supplied by grace.
Also, be very specific when you offer Him thanks. Instead of thanking Him for healing, why not thank Him specifically that He healed you from back pain, for example.
The more specific you are with your thanks, the more you'll know what to expect to receive.
Imagine you are wearing a catcher's glove and Jesus is pitching His promises to you. When you know what 'pitch" He is going to throw to you, then you'll be expectant and hopeful of what you are going to receive from Him.
