Hello ,
You've got to
love it when God gives you a promise and you get to experience it. There is one promise that will require you to WAIT on Him, but the wait will be well worth it.
In Psalm 27:14, the Lord has a promise to anyone who needs STRENGTH.
"Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and
"Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord." (NKJV)
Do
you need strength for what you're facing?
I know how it feels to WAIT sooooo long on the Lord. This past year, I felt like I was being purged. My heart was open to what the Lord was doing, but it took such
a long time.
In hindsight, I would not regret what I had to go through.
Remember when you WAIT on the Lord, He WILL strengthen your heart.
It may feel like He is doing "heart surgery" on you, but it's for your good. Give Him permission and access to your heart so He can heal the hurts and the
wounds.
Many will not give the Lord access to the heart because they're believing a lie.
What's the lie?
It's going to be too painful and I can't deal with it.
A few years ago, I was coaching one of my students, and the Lord gave me an image.
He showed me that she had a big door in her heart called THERE. She didn't want to GO THERE, because it was too painful. Then the Lord showed me another
image.
I could see her on one side of the door and Jesus on the other side. She had so many locks on the door that she was not allowing HEALING to take place in her
heart.
Then the Lord showed me that He knocked on the door, she unlocked the locks and slowly opened the door just a crack. That was all Jesus needed. She finally let Him
in her heart and she was miraculously healed.
Finally, Jesus asked her if He could remove the door from the hinges so He could have access to her heart at any time. She agreed and her relationship with Jesus
blossomed.
So, let me ask you:
Are
you willing to WAIT on the Lord so He can renew your strength?
Will you give Jesus full access to your heart by going THERE with Him?
Will you allow Jesus to take the THERE DOOR off the hinges so He can have FULL access to your heart at any time?
If you answered NO to these questions, then the pain and hurt will remain. You will continue to be stuck. You will not have the kind of relationships God wants you
to have with Him and others.
If you answered YES to these questions, then you can expect a closer, more intimate relationship with Jesus AFTER He heals you. You will experience a freedom
you've never had before and the Lord will bless you with His strength.
