“Don’t let your heart be troubled,” and “Do not be anxious,” are commands to us in the scriptures. Why? 

Well, one reason is because of how sweet Jesus is! Jesus is the Prince of Peace.
He promises that we will find quietness and rest within Himself. How good—how sweet—it is to be loved by Him!

My heart needs to be reminded often, through these two commands, that Jesus has lordship over my soul. I have freely chosen to entrust my heart into His hands, the only one who embodies peace.

This isn’t a harsh turning of the heart.

This isn’t striving to get out of unrest.

This is a gentle turning of the eyes of our hearts back to Jesus in the moment of
unrest—remembering the sweetness of His promise.

He is beautiful, kind, and gentle. Whenever I think of Him, He puts a smile on my face!

Why would anyone want to continue in anxiety? Why would we beat ourselves up over the flesh, knowing that it could never bring pleasure to the Lord?

Instead, we can repent by softly turning our heart’s affection back onto the Prince of Peace and lover of our souls.

When the Lord was giving me this sweet reminder to meditate on, I also received a vision of a man—a lover—gently holding his beloved’s chin and turning her face towards his; their eyes locked onto each other’s gaze upon meeting.

In this picture, the Lord was showing me the level of intimacy and affection that Jesus, our coming Bridegroom-King, desires to have with the Church, His Bride.

We are His Bride! 

Jesus is lovingly calling us all higher until He alone is our portion!

We will experience transformation the more we look to Jesus, meditate on His character, and remember that our souls belong to Him. 

We have already become one with Him in the Spirit, by the power of His blood, and we will become what we behold with the eyes of our hearts.

Jesus’ ways are not “demanding” in the way that people who are burdened by the cares of this world can relate. Rather, His yoke is easy and His burden is light.

Our relationship with Him is truly a love walk, and I believe that when we see the beauty of His ways, we will respond more favorably to what He asks of us.

Eternal life is to know Him. I pray that the Lord would continue to help us see Him rightly so that we may respond back to His love in a way that pleases Him.

May He help us to remain rooted and grounded in the light of His great love!

Encouragement

After reading how you can BE FREE from anxiety, does it give you hope? Hope and peace come from Heaven. Anxiety comes from hell. 

Did you notice the "word" that Clarianne shared that will give you hope for a life free from anxiety?

REPENT.

The Lord has been highlighting that word to me in 2023. It means to turn and change your mind. Since that is true, then WHO do you turn to?

Jesus Christ your Prince of Peace. 

You can choose to behold Him and His beauty. When you do, the anxieties melt away. Did you notice I did not write "your" anxieties?

They don't belong to you. You will not find anxiety IN CHRIST, will you? 

Give ownership to who owns it - The Devil.

It's the devil's anxiety, not yours. 

Today can be the day you are set free from the lies of anxious thoughts. Prayer this life-changing prayer out loud right now:

"Lord Jesus, I repent and renounce the lies of anxiety. I turn to YOU Jesus for You are My Prince of Peace. I release and let go of the lies of anxiety. Help me to live a life free from anxiety and now be FULL OF PEACE, in Your Precious Name. Amen!"

Now wait on the Lord. Listen to His response. Ask Him to show you a picture of what your life will look like from now on full of His peace. Amen.
