Hello ,
When I was growing up in Fargo, North Dakota, I'd be outside as much as I could. It was so freeing and liberating. During the summer, I would be fascinated with insects. One in particular was the BUTTERFLY. Why?
The butterfly has such beautiful colors and reminds me
of FREEDOM.
When I was in elementary school, I discovered that butterflies began as caterpillars and then formed a cocoon. This is where their transformation begins.
Your transformation begins on the INSIDE too.
You may have a desire for your situation to change TODAY. The truth is that your transformation takes time and trusting that God is working out all things for your good. (Romans 8:28)
The definition of transformation is a change in form, appearance or character.
Where does that take place?
In the Secret Place.
Just like no one can see what happens in the cocoon, your transformation is happening in the Secret Place with the Lord. The more you focus on Jesus Christ and behold Him, the more you are transformed into HIS image.
Is that a desire you have?
Psalm 37:4 tells you, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." You DO have that desire in your heart to be transformed because God gave it to you.
You do NOT have to stay the same.
You can be transformed.
How?
Romans 12:2 tells you, "Do not conform yourselves to the standards of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind."
How can you expect to be transformed if you continue to live by the
world's standards? The secret to your transformation is to allow God to RENEW YOUR MIND.
He does this as you meditate on His Scriptures day and night.
The Bible is full of KEYS to
Success. Here is one of them:
"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success." Joshua 1:8
Did you see that? God promises you WILL have good success. Not only does He promise you, but He even tells you how.
, our prayer for you is that God will help you be transformed into the image of Jesus
Christ.
"Father God, we thank You for Your Word. It does not return to You void, but it accomplishes what You please and it prospers where it is sent. We ask You to bless with a transformation that others will notice a significant difference. Thank You for Son Jesus being our righteous example of how to live a life pleasing
to YOU.
"We believe when we pray according to Your will that You answer our prayers. Thank You for blessing your child with Your Truth that makes them free, in Jesus Christ's name. Amen!"
Now begin to thank God and praise Him for answering our prayer.
Ask Him to lead you to specific Bible verses that will help you in your transformation journey. You no longer have to allow your past or others to dictate your future
since God has already determined your destiny. Amen!
