Hello ,
The Lord is trusting you with GIFTS. Do you know what is so great about gifts? They are FREE. You don't pay for a gift someone gives to you.
Your God-given gifts are NOT for you.
He gave them to you to give to others. He has blessed EVERYONE with gifts to bless others with, true? The gifts He has given to me personally are for YOU.
A few years ago, as I was journaling with the Lord, He told me this life-changing truth that I will ALWAYS remember:
"Gifts are for giving and seeds are for sowing."
Read that again OUT LOUD.
Meditate on it.
The REASON you have gifts is to give them away. The REASON you have seeds is to sow them into the lives of others.
You may be wondering what are the gifts and seeds that the
Lord has given to you to share with others.
If you would like to know what they are, DO NOT try to figure it out, guess, or analyze. Why?
Because the Lord desires for you to COME TO HIM and ask Him those
questions. Is He All-Knowing? Yes!
When you call upon Him, He WILL answer you. When you seek Him, you WILL find Him. Do you believe that is true for you?
Right now, the Lord is making Himself VERY OBVIOUS
to you. That statement alone tells you it's true.
Once He reveals to you the gifts and seeds you ALREADY have, Thank Him, Praise Him, and give Him Glory!
The gifts and seeds He has given you are not
always physical.
For example, He has given me the gift to teach, encourage, prophesy, coach, and much more. It brings Him so much joy when I share these gifts with you and others.
The Lord is
also blessed when you share your gifts and seeds with others.
Do you remember what Jesus said in Acts 20:35?
"It is more blessed to give than to receive."
The Lord blesses the gifts you give to others. Do you believe He will bless you if you hoard them in fear? Of course not.
What happens when you sow seeds?
God promises to MULTIPLY the seeds you SOW.
He does not promise He multiplies the seeds you hold onto. How can He?
When a farmer has seed, it is for the purpose of sowing to reap a harvest. What would happen if the farmer has sack loads of seed and never sows it? The result would be NO HARVEST.
Recently, I shared a teaching with our coaching students that God is the Owner and we are His Managers.
It changed their lives. They can never think the same way. They now understand what God has given them does not belong to them but ONLY to God.
Remember God is trusting you with the gifts and seeds you ALREADY HAVE.
Since God is the OWNER of those gifts and seeds, then you must come to Him as His Manager and ask Him what HE would like you to do with them.
You no longer have to make OWNER decisions, only MANAGER decisions. The good news is, that
the Lord knows the purpose for each gift and each seed.
The gifts and seeds you NOW have are to be used for God's Kingdom Purposes. When you are faithful with little, He will make you faithful over much.
Are you ready for MUCH?
If so, then be FAITHFUL with what you already have. Remember, gifts are for giving and seeds are for sowing.
Finally, ask the Lord right now what gifts and
seeds you already have in your possession. Then ask Him what He would like you to do with them.
The Lord WILL bless your obedience.
