Hello ,
What happens when the Lord tells you to do something you've never done before? You can trust Him and do what He tells you to do. Or you can waver and disobey Him.
Which decision will He bless?
Trusting and obeying Him, of course.
, the Lord may have recently told you to do something completely
new. You need to make a decision. What are you going to do?
If you truly love Him, you will follow Him no matter where He takes you. Remember, He knows the plans He has for you. He is your Leader and you are His follower. Leaders lead and followers follow.
You can come up with excuses why you don't want to follow His direction.
It's not the
right time.
I'm not qualified.
I've never done this
before.
Excuses will not lead to blessings, but obedience will. A few years ago, the Lord gave me a definition for excuses.
Excuses are just lies in disguise.
You don't want to miss out on what God has for you, do you? If you are choosing excuses, then you don't truly TRUST GOD. Proverbs 3:5 instructs you to trust in the Lord with all your
heart and lean not to your own understanding.
What are people going to think of me if I do this?
What if I mess up?
How am I going to figure this out?
Excuse questions. They don't lead to trusting God, do they?
Instead of asking these doubting questions, why not ask EMPOWERING QUESTIONS instead?
Why can I do all things through Christ who strengthens me?
Why does God supply all of my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus?
Why has God blessed
me with all things that pertain to life and godliness?
Do you see the difference in HOW you ask questions? Once you understand that you can ask questions the Lord gives you to transform your life, then you will ask Him every day these questions.
The questions you ask either lead you to magnify problems or God's possibilities. Which ones will you choose?
For those who know me well, they know I ask a lot of questions. Why? Because I care about them. I like to help them. I really like the possibilities that questions can
create.
Get into the habit each day and ask the Lord this question:
Lord, what questions would You like me to ask you today?
Once you ask that question, then listen and watch for His answers. Write them down. Next, ask the Lord the questions He just gave you. Finally, listen for His answers.
You can be ONE QUESTION away from YOUR BREAKTHROUGH!
Ask the Lord what that question is right now.
