Did you know that YOUR story can change a person's life? It's true. You have a testimony that Jesus wants you to share with others. As a disciple of Jesus, you are also called a Witness.
What does a witness do?
Testifies of what you see, hear, and experience.
Since you started walking with Jesus, you have
so many stories you can share with others that can lead them into a relationship with Him.
If you only knew how many would love to hear your story. They won't hear or see it unless you tell them.
Did you know the word "testimony" means to repeat, duplicate, and do again?
Why is that so important?
Because when you share your testimony with others, then you are setting God up to repeat, duplicate, and do again what you share with them.
A decade ago, I had the opportunity to minister to Bible College students on Thursday evenings. After eating dinner with them, then I would teach, lead them in an encounter with God, and then give them opportunities to give prophetic words to our guests.
One evening, a student shared a testimony about his Mom who had received a prophetic word about God being her Provider. As a single Mom, it blessed her and she meditated on this prophecy.
Two weeks later, someone paid off her mortgage. Alleluia! Plus the Lord sent
her on a cruise ship adventure because He loved her.
When this student shared this testimony, I got to pray for a guest who just heard what God had done to provide a financial miracle. The first words the Lord said to him was, "I am going to bless you financially and it's going
to be sooner that later."
Within 24 hours, someone wrote him a check for $10,000. Praise God. Did you see what He did in that meeting?
A testimony was shared and God was waiting for ANYONE to believe He could do a financial miracle for them. (HINT)
Are you starting to see just how powerful your story with Jesus can be? Look at your testimony as a" Set Up" for
others to find Jesus.
Imagine every time you share your testimony, God is ready to repeat, duplicate, and do again what He did for you for those who hear and read your story.
Do you know one thing people will listen to?
Stories.
Not just any stories. They will listen to stories that relate to them, that touch their hearts, and that can change their lives.
, you have a powerful
testimony to share with others. Many are waiting for you to speak up or read your stories.
My question to you is this:
Are you willing to seek the Lord to help you craft your testimony?
If yes, then expect Him to help you share ONLY the stories that He wants you to share. That way it won't feel so overwhelming for you. Each story will be intentional and have a
purpose.
