Last week, a friend of mine, who has been in ministry much longer than I, recommended I share my story. What you are about to read may SHOCK you.
This is my personal journey I've
experienced since I moved to a new state over three years ago. You'll discover what I have been hiding from you, why I did that, and what the Lord has done that led to this email.
I'll start with The Facts. These are things in my past I cannot go back
and undo. Then I share The Truth of what the Lord did through me. And finally, I share WHY the Lord wanted me to tell you my story.
The Facts
Before moving here over three years ago, I gave away all my household items to a family that lost everything in a fire. When I moved here, I came with three bags of luggage and four plastic storage containers, searching for a furnished place.
After attending churches, classes, evangelism outreach, Men's Group, and a prayer group for those in business, I struggled to develop deeper relationships during this season. As a prophet, I have struggled relationally and have felt misunderstood.
Over the
past 3+ years, I have been living in a hotel room. Every day, I go for a few walks up to 5 miles a day. The last time I was in a house was in December 2022.
I'm in this room 22+ hours a day. No driver's license. No vehicle either. It's been over two years since I ate a meal with
anyone.
The Truth
The good news is that
last year, the Lord helped me so much with forgiveness and letting go. This year has been about emotional healing.
Those who have met me personally have met someone with deep emotional wounds, lacking in social skills, and who has been hiding. For decades, I struggled with shame,
guilt, condemnation, and embarrassment.
The Lord has removed ungodly beliefs, lies, deceptions, hurts, pain, and heartache that led me to forgive myself and others. He then gave me new beliefs, mindsets, expectations, and feelings.
In October 2023, the Lord reminded me that my physical body is the Temple of Holy Spirit. He then said, "Only eat what comes from the ground, sky, and water."
It was one of the healthiest decisions I have ever made. I am in the best physical health of my life as I turn 64 in June. Surprisingly, my grocery bill went down too by eating and drinking what God designed us to consume.

Honest
Open
Transparent
He wanted me to share my story with you to encourage you, that no matter what you are facing, the Lord can still use you for His Glory.
Despite my challenges, the Lord has continued opening doors for ministry, prayer, encouragement, and personal growth. I am grateful for the people He has allowed me to serve during this season.
What happens when you are honest, open, and transparent with those closest to you? It leads to healthy, encouraging, supportive relationships.
Why would you hide what's happening in your life from others when sharing it can free you? (Read that question again.)
You might be wondering, why did I wait till NOW to share this with you? Why not
earlier? Because the Lord has brought so much healing in my heart and given me the courage to share my journey.
It requires humility and trusting the Lord.
Finally, don't be surprised if the Lord leads you to be honest, open, and transparent with someone very close to you.
