God's will for your life will ONLY be revealed by God.
Meditate on that for a moment. He is the only One that knows all the details of your life. Your past. Your present. Your future.
It is God's desire that you seek Him. When you seek Him, you will discover more of WHO He is and WHO you are in Him. The more you understand your True Identity in Him, the more you will know your purpose in life.
One day when I was typing in my journal on my small Acer computer a few years ago, the Lord gave me THE VISION for my life. I wasn't asking Him for it. He simply GAVE it to me.
After I finished journaling, I took out my phone and recorded The Vision so I could listen to it. I am an auditory learner and I remember best when I hear something.
A few months ago, the Lord reminded me of The Vision as I was studying the Gospels. Jesus' disciples asked Him about what He was doing. He told them... "it is written to be FULFILLED."
Then the Lord led me to Habakkuk 2, "Write the vision and make it plain.." Next He said to me, "Jeffrey, I said WRITE the Vision, not type it."
So I bought a notebook and hand wrote The Vision from the Lord. Every day I read it out loud and it has changed the way I see my life. I tell others this is the best year of my life. Why?
I am living out God's Vision for my life.
BUT I want YOU to know The Vision God has for your life. It starts with seeking Him. Just like Habakkuk was WATCHING, God wants you to watch for His Vision for your life.
Once you know what it is, it will make it easier for you to know what to say YES to and what to say NO to.
"Lord, I know its Your will for Your children to follow Your lead. You know where You are leading each of them. Show them the Vision You have for them to SEE. Give them vivid details of Your Perfect Will for their lives. Help them to Be Still and Know that You are God.
As they choose to sit and wait in your Presence, give them Your Perfect Peace that passes all understanding. Restore their Hope. Set them up this year with Divine Connections. Show them that You are our Ephesians 3:20 God. Amen!"
