Hello ,
The Bible tells us in Proverbs 3:5, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding." God wants to help you with your heart because He LOVES you.
Your heart is where you believe and have understanding. If your beliefs are not partnering with God, then you need Him to help you.
In 2008, the Lord led me to go to Bible College in Colorado. At the time I was on staff with a ministry in Minnesota when He called me to go into the UNKNOWN.
Have you ever been there before? God calls you to do something you've never done before and you try to figure out how it's all going to work out?
That's what happened to me in August 2008 when I left Minnesota for a Trust Trip with the Lord.
He gave me a Word that I held onto that helped me to trust Him.
The Lord said, "Go and I will provide."
What was my part? Go. What was His part? Provide.
I continued to meditate on that PROMISE from the Lord as I flew out of the Minneapolis Airport with two bags of luggage, a one way plane ticket and less than a hundred dollars in my bank account.
BUT I had a Word from the Lord - Go and I'll provide.
The first day of school, a third year student named Jerry came up to me and asked, "Is your name Jeffrey?" I said yes. He told me someone wanted me to have this check for $1,560 that paid for my books, fees and first semester of tuition.
I lost it. I started to cry and thank the Lord. What was I trusting Him for?
I was believing He would provide and He did. When I share this story with others, I tell them that I had to do my part and trust the Lord to do His part.
I GOED and He PROVIDED.
Maybe you are in a situation right now where you need to trust the Lord. He cares so much about your heart that He will help you trust Him.
Is it possible God has already told you to do SOMETHING and you still haven't done it YET?
Just like the Lord provided for me on my Trust Trip to Colorado, He will provide for you as well. I would have regretted staying in Minnesota because I would have missed out on my Heart Lessons.
I encourage you today to ask the Lord:
"Lord, is there anything you have told me to do I have not done yet?"
Ask. Listen and Watch. Now Obey Him.
Whatever He is showing you I promise you it will take a step of faith trusting the Lord with your heart.
He loves you so much that He's healing your heart to trust Him and lean not to your own understanding. Amen!
We are so thankful for your prayers, encouragement and support.
