Hello ,
This past Monday was the BEST day of 2021 for me so far. Why? As I was going for a walk that day, the Lord gave me a revelation I wish I knew decades ago.
He told me something that you most likely know, but it was a Rhema Word for me. It was a REVELATION that changed my life forever.
So, what did God speak to me?
He said, "Jeffrey, what comes out of your heart is because of what was put in it."
What He was really saying to me was that our harvest is based on what we put into our hearts.
Jesus tells us to take heed what you hear and how you hear. He wants us to hear to UNDERSTAND. When we understand, then we can BELIEVE. Selah.
I took inventory of what I was seeing, hearing, and saying on Monday. That day I decided to be super careful what I allowed in my ears and eyes. Why?
Because what we sow, we reap.
If you KNEW you can determine your harvest, what seeds would you sow into your heart?
I believe one of the greatest seeds you could ever sow is the WORD OF GOD. What is it that the devil tries to steal from your heart? (Mark 4)
He wants to steal the Word of God from you so you don't produce a harvest God wants you have.
When you sow the Truth in your heart, you WILL reap a harvest that is pleasing to God. But it can be choked if you hear WORD CHOKERS.
This is a phrase the Lord gave me one day when I was studying Mark 4:18-19. When you study this passage of Scripture, it shows you WHY you have not been reaping a harvest that God promises you.
The Lord told me years ago, "You can't have mixture."
What He meant by that is you cannot HEAR the Word of God AND hear the cares of this world, deceitfulness of riches, and desiring other things and expect His Harvest. Why?
Because you CHOKE THE WORD.
You don't want to choke the Word, do you? God's desire for you is found in Mark 4:20. He wants you to Hear the Word AND Accept it.
What happens when you do this? You bear fruit.
This is the secret to your harvest. If you are not bearing fruit like God has promised you in His Word, then I highly encourage you to take inventory of what you hear and see.
Watch what happens when you eliminate the WORD CHOKERS from your life. You can experience more hope, joy, and peace.
You have a choice to make.
You can continue to mix the Word of God with Word Chokers OR you can choose to be very careful what and who you listen to.
If you have been listening to others who are saying things contrary to God's Truth, then it is influencing what you believe. Jesus tells us to hear HIM and believe HIM.
This week I challenge you to fast from Word Chokers. Just do it for one week and see what a difference it will make in your life.
Ask the Lord what are the Word Chokers in your life and ask Him to HELP YOU fast or eliminate them from your life.
When you do this, you will have a lot more time to HEAR God's Word and then you can expect the harvest that God promises you.
