Hello ,
As I write this newsletter, I have no idea what God wants to say to you this week. But this is not uncommon. EVERY week I must trust Him for HIS WORDS to say and write.
You are an Ambassador for Christ.
That means you represent the Kingdom of God. It's His desire for you to speak and write on behalf of Heaven.
But do you trust God to give you the words?
Honestly, it can be a test of patience. Today I waited over 20 minutes for these words and then it flowed.
Why does He want me to share this with you THIS WEEK?
There may be something going to happen in your life this next week, that you truly need to TRUST GOD for His Words.
Again, you are an Ambassador of Christ and you speak and write FOR HIM.
CUPCAKE TEST
This past week, I decided to try ONE new thing I've never done before every day. Yesterday was a bit of stretch for me. Some of you may think it's really easy for me to give a Word from the Lord to anyone.
It's the WILLINGNESS part that I still need help in. Can you relate?
For the past few months, I have driven by a Cupcake Store. The Lord has given me an impression to stop by and pray for the business. So I FINALLY was willing and obedient.
I simply told them I'd like to pray for their business. The manager said the owner was out of town, so I prayed anyway. It truly blessed the employees and the business.
BEFORE I prayed, I had NOTHING. Seriously.
It wasn't until I asked the Lord what HE WANTED to say to the business. He answered my question and it flowed out.
Why does God want YOU to know this?
You don't always have to have " A WORD FROM THE LORD" before you start praying for someone.
First, ask the Lord what HE wants to say and share what He reveals to you. The Bible says, "You have not because you ask not." Take the NOTS out of the verse and what does it say?
You have BECAUSE you ask.
The having follows the asking. I believe its time for the Body of Christ to step up and start asking the Lord what He wants to say to others.
Some of you may be thinking, "What if I get it wrong?"
Is that a question God would ask or the devil? There is only one who wants you to be afraid of speaking on behalf of God and that's the devil.
You will not know if the Word is from the Lord UNTIL you share it with them. After you do, ask them if it resonates. That's how you know it will be from God.
You don't want to hold back someone else's blessing, do you?
It's possible you get ONLY ONE WORD for someone. That is typically what happens with me so I just say that one word and then the Lord gives me more.
After you share the first Word from the Lord, ask Him, "What else, Lord?"
I'm going to show you how simple this is and you get to have an opportunity to ask the Lord what He wants to say.
